ATTEN RB.... Eclipse news.....
After getting up at midnight four four straight nights to shoot the full and near full moon, I think I finally nailed it. Daytime sun with #5 ND filter @ 1/80th and f16 and moon @1/160th and f9. Huge bracketing around the latter for totality. Bailey's Beads, diamond ring, and prominences are a crapshoot (you can't practice for that), but I figure somewhere around 1/1,000th-1/2,000th with no time for bracketing. That's just for my setup, of course: 840 mm. Got to go essy on the beer. A little will calm my nerves and keep me from being parched, but that's it. After two months of being totally intimidated by this, I think I've finally got it. I'm friggin stoked! I still need good luck with the weather and smoke from British Colombia fires. Ill post some pics later.
