First off, let me first state that I love the nickname "Trunk." There's something both solid, masculine, and yet, rear-end-related to it.

Secondly, Assembler Studios (read: drummer's dining room) is located at The Norman Compound (read: the drummer's residence).

Assembler Studios is currently using the following equipment:

Recording System:
Macintosh Dual G5 (Intel upgrade coming soon).
Digidesign 002 Rack Factory
- Running ProToolsLE 7.0
Digidesign Control|24 recording console

Mic Cabinet:
Rode NT1000
Rode NT5 (matched pair)
Studio Projects C-1
Shure SM57
Shure SM58

Headphones:
Samson Headphone Amp
Sony MDR-7506

I knew you were going to say protools.

I have a set of Event 20/20 monitors and my 7506's sounded eerily similar. I now have mdr-7509 they sound good, but I'd like to get another pair of 06's

trunk is a lot easier to say and type than ate-dee

Are the Event's for work? If it's for home, I have to get you hooked up on better home equipment. Nearfield monitors in a home sound. . . weird.

And yeah, aside from maybe the Sennheiser 250's or the Grado's. . . the 7506's are freakin' workhorses. . . the 09's aren't quite as neutral, and I've yet to figure out why.
