i bought stanton moore's album "III" last night. amazing stuff too. skerik guest plays on it as well

No no no. . .so, one of my lady friends got me an Amazon gift certificate for my birthday, so I picked up some odds n' ends:

Solomon Burke's "Nashville" - Country standards done by a soul legend. Amazing recording. His voice just bleeds through the speakers.

The Magic Numbers' "Those The Brokes" - Poptasm. Dan, it'll drive you nuts it's so poppy.

The other stuff still in the mail:

Beck's "Midnite Vultures" - replacing a lost copy

Black Crowes "The Lost Crowes" - This apparently is the stuff after 'Amorica' and before 'Three Snakes,' when they really were falling off the wagon

NIN Year Zero - This will either be as amazing as "The Downward Spiral," or a complete mess.
