They'd have been a great group, except they got started in the late '70's.

Seriously, I was listening to the 80's Station on XM Saturday night, and holy crap, do I hate the 80's.

 

i love there old shit.....lots of ska/reggae influence

 

Oh yeah, nothing against their musicianship. . . or even then (every account I heard was that they were just as punky as the punk bands), but FFS, wanna sound like the '80's?

1. Find a Producer

2. Give that producer more blow than he knows what to do with.

3. Give yourself more Bolivian Marching Powder than you know what to do with.

4. Play while on blow.

5. Track it through a Neve board with bad EQ, and use a UA1176 fully pegged.

6. Run it through a BBS, dbx, a solid state EQ, and a nasty 8-bit Lexicon digital reverb.

7. Wait for the money to roll in.

8. Buy more blow.

9. Repeat

The first party I ever went to that had blow was about 8-9 years ago. . . I was the second youngest guy there.
