I just got this email from a coworker. I'm really tempted to volunteer. What do you all think?? Please read, this is important to me

Subject: Volunteer?

It's Christmas season, a time for giving, so I thought just maybe this spirit has softened you up enough to ask you to consider taking over coaching my soccer team. My health isn't what it used to be, and I'm traveling too much and am not giving enough to these kids to allow them to succeed. They really need a coach for the summer, and I know you have what it takes if you are just willing to give it a shot...this can be so rewarding! The more of yourself you give to them, the more love they give back.



Will one of you please help these poor kids out and be a coach for their team?? They really are a sweet bunch of kids , they just need someone that can show them a little kindness and be willing to spend some extra hours after work helping them learn some new moves and such. They aren't very good at soccer but with the right attention and coaching I think these kids could go really far. This is a good chance to help shape the minds of our youth. Either of you want it?

PS: I have enclosed a picture of the team to assist you in your Decision making process.
