I'm amazed that a meeting about the development and production of one of my weapons programs went like this

 

Why would you be amazed? That's how every product development program I've ever been involved with went.

 

I've put a tremendous amount of time into this making every attempt to alleviate this typical situation.

I've spent time writing formal requirements for the weapon.
I've spent time with the developers building a relationship and providing on-site input as an experienced warrior and tester.

Still when it comes down to the people that do nothing but manage money . . . . . . . I think we are going to have a situation similar to the above
