So Apple guys... what's up with this. I tried to look at a video on this site http://www.ctv.ca/ . It's on the left a bit down the page and says, "Watch the latest edition of CTV News with Lloyd Robertson".

The genius in the Apple store couldn't get it going on his machine either. He thought it might be that it's a foreign tv site and maybe it was blocked... it works works fine on a PC.

I have Flip 4 Mac installed and I (and the genius) tried reinstalling. Any ideas?

Seeing as all this transpired at different times, I couldn't possibly guess.

Usually if something doesn't work, it's due to bogus encoding.

This is entirely repeatable. WOrks on a PC, doesn't work on the Macs I've tried including one in store with genius.
