Sounds like your iPod liked the song and wanted to hear it again. Maybe it reminded him of the cute little iPod shuffle it met at the factory.

I still hate the issue of having to push the plug in every time I fire up da VMOM

If the cable isn't staying plugged in, try a rubber band maybe?


And if none of the above suggestions work for the shuffle issue, send an e-mail to alpine and ask them.
