Well it will be faster (not instant but faster) and reduce drive crashes and vastly improve battery life. Yes only 64GB.

Worth it? Not to me at $1300 and a loss of 16GB but at some price it would be

If you're doing some highly disk intensive work (Music Production/Video/Photo work), the SSD drive as first-line R/W with RAID array could be a compelling performance/data integrity proposition.

It may depend on the front side bus of the chip.
