WestSideBilly posted yesterday (I think) "George, I still think you're an asshole." I posted back "Thanks, Billy, I think you're a supreme shithead." This was all in good fun, with no offense intended or taken. However, I can see how an outsider who doesn't know us would be taken quite aback. We project an image of who we are that's much diffedrent from reality. I really don't know that there's much we can do to change it. Maybe it's for the better in that it tends to keep away people who don't want to engage in our brand of banter.

 

I'll just put my 2cents into this.

I think the corner basically became a place where people that know each other keep a small convos i'm not too sure if its true but it felt that way, of course the corner had things for others to do like the empty post thread and corner game.My point is you guys are too close it didnt make some of us feel welcomed.
I know because we started a thread in the alleyway for the houston whores, we were thrown out of the houstook forums for whoring it up and the only outsider willing to join us was bahula, although outside that thread ( in the alleyway) I talked to people that didnt want to join us... I never asked them why they didnt.
perhaps its the same thing with the corner..we werent mean or unwelcoming but they maybe felt out of place.

 

do u think the switch can be done nicely and without any real craziness guys? and this is not for just PWA's, everyone.

Right. I don't see it as a problem. The Alleyway is, from what I've seen, a subset of the Corner s, and a few extra people who post in the alley corner game threads to rack up posts.
