actually, mike, it looks like I might get a sony. The adaptor will only let me reach 1600, and I want 1920......

 

Sony is good.

 

jeez... i actually need to get another monitor for my dell..i've been using my same 17" sony monitor for 10years.. never really needed to change it, and the layout of my desk never allowed me to get another monitor (wouldn't fit).
now my monitor takes forever to come out of screensaver/power saving mode, and the picture is ridiculously dark...

i'll play with the mac tonight.... screen is tiny..but then again, it's a laptop, so that's ok... i need to play around with it a little bit more. i still know nothing about macs's

 

My Compaq screen died in about 3 years

Even on full brightness you can't really see anything on it now

 

my sony lasted forever..it's a 200gs...i liked it a lot.. but man, it's a tank...i'll be sort of glad to get rid of it, but i sure hope that whatever i get next last just as long!

hey..finally took a picture of the laptop..
like i said, i don't know anything about it... i do know that i can't stand the mousepad so i had to get a seperate mouse

 

damn battery takes forever btw...
