thing is, on the board, and in others cars, the mb quarts sounded fine.. quite good actually... just surprised that it didn't sound as good as i would have expected with the top down..

Possibly but American owned.

...Infinity's are another very well regarded "bright" speaker....if that is your musical taste..go for it.
