Attn Mom: Shocks
I finally got replacement shocks and had them installed on Big Red. After 92,000+ miles, the old shocks were shot - noisy and very bumpy
. It only took three months to do this
. I had four deals for used shocks fall through, including a Corvette Forum scammer
, which we talked about. I got used (1,700 miles) Magnetic Selective Ride Control shocks from a 2019 ZR1. I didn't know if they would fit properly and ride right until after they were installed on Wednesday, so there was a big risk. No one, including the dealer, would guarantee this so I just took a chance. I've been fretting about this for three months
. The ride is very smooth, like a new car!
I'm really happy!
I ended up saving over $3,000.
Have Skip give me a call today at (626) XXX-XXXX when he has a minute. I want to share my experience with him. I know that he went through this same process with his Vette and he complained about the cost.
