I have had a chance to listen to it, and for the most part it's really good. The second half of the album gets a little out there, but it is ALL new music. (Some of the songs are familiar songs, but they are all alternate versions.)

I also went to see the "Experience Hendrix" show when it came through Chicago.

About 15 guitarist spent 3 hrs playing Hendrix tunes. It was really awesome. Joe Satriani, Johnny Lang, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, etc, etc.
