I usually think the numbers are a bit low for research on cannabis users. It's probably one of the largest underground scenes in the world. Remarkable how many more people smoke it than you think.

Why do some threads about the same topic often end up right next to each other in the order of threads? Take for example, in the gallery forum, another user and I posted pictures of the ALMS Northeast GP. Although started at different times and with a different # of posts, they ended up right next to each other, as if someone had posted on the earliest one at the right moment to keep those two threads next to each other.
Are there users on here who's sole purpose it is to facilitate in grouping together like threads? Is there constant organization of threads that we aren't told about?!?!?!

i watched the "in pot we trust" documentary last night on showtime. man was this an eye opening show. it was talking about the medicinal uses mainly. but it was wild watching these people blaze the dank they get from the fed
it was also unbelievable to see these people's conditions actually get better after smoking a joint or a bowl. this lady with MS who was so sweet (reminded me of my mom, just not with MS
) but she actually smoked for the first time in at least 25-30 years. with in minutes here muscle tremors were almost non-existent.....another lady with cerebral palsy that had this REALLY bad stutter smoked a bowl and she could pretty much get a clean sentence out without stuttering.....just unbelievable stuff showing how much of a need we have for this stuff
ya'll check it out if you can.

oh one of the coolest stories was this guy from norcal that actually went into a medicinal pot store and picked through at least 10 kinds of CRAZY DANK!
he got one kind of sativa for the morning pick me up
and a kush/haze for the night time
it was friggin cool man

That's awesome. I saw the Penn and Teller episode about drugs and how the war on drugs is pretty much just expensive lunacy. Apparently, the government has a program that hands out medicinal marijuana, but only 7 people in the united states are eligible to receive it. They get mailed a tin can (like a cookie tin) with a couple hundred already rolled joints. He smokes several a day.
the guy last night said it was 13 people in country get it. they were on the program when it started back with bush sr. he then stopped the program but the 13 original people were able to stay in it since it would have escalated into a court battle if the gov't would have taken their right away. this guy would blaze that can of joints in about 25 days
he would smoke in his car, at work, wherever and he could get away with it

Perhaps what you saw was newer than mine. That is both awesome and ridiculous. Awesome because he can go around saying he gets weed from the White House LOL. it's ridiculous because only 13 people are on it. I read in the news some time ago about a woman who had MS, a brain tumor, and chronic nausea. Her doctor has tried everything, but nothing works. The weed calms her pain and allows her to hold food down. She lives in CA where state law allows medicinal use, but the federal gov't said they weren't going to tolerate it, and would put her away. She still smokes though. I think she was appealing or something...
it was amazing seeing in real time on the tv these patients symptoms almost fully diminish only minutes after toking. the ms ladies legs' didn't have the "chronic burn" as she called it. she was actually feeling good. the lady with CP that could actually talk. the guy smoking all day to relax his muscles so that these tumors wouldn't tear the skin and muscle, and another guy that had some chronic depression/post traumatic stress disorder could be calm.
