I just saw episode 6 (ROTJ - version 2.0). at the very end there were three aparitions, Yoda, Old ObiWan, and Young Anakin (Hayden Christensen). If I understand correctly, the ROTJ (version 2.0) was made before episode 2 (AOTC) and episode 3 (ROTS); how can they put Young Anakin in episode 6?? i.e. how can they put Hayden christensen in before he was even selected for Episode 2 & 3?

Other than that, it was a good movie. except that special effects were so cheesy back 20 years ago.

 

For the 2004 release Sebastian Shaw was replaced by christiansen as the darth vader aparition. Attack of the clones was a 2002 release.

 

The DVD release (which is actually release 4) had a few changes to make the characters & story cohesive with Episodes 1-3. Notably the apparition scene.

If you have access to a VHS or Laserdisc player, I highly recommend watching the original trilogy (new hope, ESB, RotJ) in its original release. The DVD release is a mild bastardization.
