you JUST now noticed that? it's been there for like..... NINE? years? every since we got the flags...
anyway... my great great grandfather came from the netherlands to escape the squalor of living with 12 other siblings i guess.... HIS father was a sailor of some sort... lost his leg to a sledge! peg legged sailor... no kidding...

We bought a VW Westphalia camper at the factory in Germany and spent the summer touring Europe, with a month carved out for Kenya and Tanzania. The day before we put it on a ship for the US (with Kenyan Ganja in the glovebox, unbeknownst to me), we were in Alkmaar, the famous cheese factory just north of Amsterdam, and a giant garbage truck backed into it, with me behind the wheel. Completely destroyed the front end. The City of Alkmaar eventually paid for the damages.
