Mrs. Raptor is making Rouladen for me tonight for Valentine's Day dinner, with spaetzle and red cabbage, of course.

 

Good to hear! GFTrunkie and I are going to my folks' for a send-off dinner for them; they're heading to Australia for three weeks. . and this turns out to be the best day for that.

That said, we're bringing a bottle of Barrel 27's Hand Over Fist* (Syrah, Mourvedre, Grenache blend) and GFTrunkie's Almond Cake.

I made BBQ chicken and shrimp. Half the shrimp were wrapped in bacon. I also took a lite bacon grease and added it to one fresh green beans and then grilled them. The best green beans I've ever had. Twice baked potatoes too. Legit.

 

Sounds like a fine time was had by all.
