Well, the Bonneville is totally f*cked now... The bits of deteriorating clutch packs are clogging the valve bodies and filter, causing it to not shift out of neutral... After driving 3min, then putting it in neutral, killing the engine and coasting (I did that about 4 or 5 times), I made it to my uncle's shop. He took me home, and guess what he told me...

Remember that Corvette shop directly across from his? The one with the 570whp Procharged C5 driven by the owner's wife? Well, I saw a '69 427 Ray convertible(!) out in the parking lot, and my uncle told me it's 100% original, even the paint is the original color. Anyway, that 427 Ray and the Procharged C5 were both at the Autorama here in Houston last weekend...

My uncle said it's an '03 C5, and with not even 1000mi on the odo, the guy (a black guy that owns a clinic) sent it to California for a $65k twin-turbo engine! That's right, Lingenfelter's 427tt LS1!

It's painted Ferrari orange with yellow flames, and has ostrich interior... Unfortunately, it hasn't been back to the Corvette shop since the car show...
I made my uncle promise to call me whenever it comes back. I will take pictures, even if it means I have to steal a digicam from Best Buy on the way there!

Also, the guy owns an Escalade with $20k spinners, and a BMW 760Li also with $20k spinners and a $40k sound system...
The best part, though, is that my uncle is giving me an 82 or 83 Corolla for my go kart... it has a good engine, good tranny, good rearend, and good brakes and suspension...but it's a unibody so we can't use the frame.
BUT, if everything is still good, we may just make a little monster out of the AE86 corolla!
i'm going right now to check it out
