btw, i "gained" about 25whp from the new transaxle and drivetrain... less friction, more efficient, less power loss

but, WICKSTER, i couldve settled with a 5spd because with my 6spd, the top 2 are overdrives and i NEVER use 6th gear - though i can pull away cleanly from 30mph in 6th gear... AND 6th is good for 189mph - if the chassis/susp/tires could take it

i wonder if i should rebuild my tranny withOUT the overdrives

NO!

i just spent $6k on the damn thing im NOT gonna "trash" the richmond for a whiny old dogbox

although i can get ahold of a 4spd jericho for cheap...
