Will V.2 be backwards compatable?
Not all users of V.1 will be able to enjoy V.2 due to religious dietary restrictions. However, V.1 will be made available (and does not have slated EOA/EOS dates).

Will V.1 go GNU? and if not will it be de-supported in favour of V.2 since it would appear the V.2 is an actual upgrade and not a seperate product?

V.1 is in the Public Domain actually. V.1.0.3 is my secret finished product, and is not published in this thread. I'm making V.2 available via Creative Commons when it's ready to go.

You didn't answer my support question. I am concerned about compatibility.

Alright. That's very good to now. I have yet to install Kickasserole V.1.

Are there any known bugs in Kickasserole ?

I am also worried about support.

It would appear there are several compatability issues...

you may need a hotfix to deal with some of those conflicts...
