No!!!! Maybe I'm just a spaz today???? But really, the bees were extremely agressive today. The hives were pretty crowded and they had an amazing amount of honey in them. My bees behavior today reminds me of part africanized bees. I dunno what's up with that.

Could be too that I've been a lazy beekeeper this year and haven't worked with them enough and they got kinda wild.

The frames are all in my kitchen and I hope to get the honey extracted next week. I think I'll get about 200 lbs of honey
It's not possible you got an africanized group mixed in, is it?

I'd love to snag a bit of that honey... I haven't had fresh honey since I was 8 or 9. Good stuff.

I've just got too much to do in the next couple days and things are getting away from me more than I like...
So much so that you can't take a couple of hours out

I think maybe it is. Biologists say many bees will be africanized throughout the US in a few years.

I'll mail some honey to you or you can get some when you come to Seattle.

Unfortunately, yes. I'm going to have a VERY busy second half of the week next week with little (if any) downtime, so I need to get all my projects done in the next couple days...

Take care of yourself too I know that sometimes that means working really hard on stuff now to preserve some sanity for later. So get lot's done!

Trust me...in intend to get quite a bit done. I've been taking care of myself better lately. These projects are actually for me, so it's all good. It's just a matter of deciding how I want/need to use the downtime that I DO get...
