Finally got to see her face to face for the first time in weeks. Good conversation... pleasant time... emotionally productive... nothing magical... but the lines of communication are more open than they had been the past couple weeks. She's learning to cope with her PTSD. She seemed surprised to find that I have been very actively learning about what she's experiencing. Does not appear that others have taken the time to see the world through her wounded eyes.

Yes. I love her. Will it work out??? God only knows... I can hope can't I? You bet I can.

 

I can't help but hope it works out for you two. It takes a very special and patient person to understand, accept and support someone who has experienced any kind of trauma.

Without hope we have no reason for living IMO.
