another DUDE I met one day
Spoiler

he owns the BMW Dealership in Murrieta that was near our previous home and one day while C-6 was at work I his C-6 over to see if I could get a of him with it since he's raced VEttE's

HE is another SWEET HEART he came down and graciously complied then asked me to come inside as I did, he said wait here.

He came back down with an 8 X 10 Color of him with racing stats, asked what C-6's name was and signed it [ Skip drive it like you stole it! ] & yeah he's like 6' 6" I have a of him & I standing together
I think I told you about the time I met him maybe 20 years ago? His race team was staying at the hotel I worked at and he gave me a hefty tip for finding reservations at a good restaurant that could accommodate the whole team. They were all pretty nice.

we took Annie out yesterday to verify her Speedometer and as we suspected its not quite on line when at higher speeds
I drove and C-6 had a GPS thingie that shows your speed so he could check it periodically
when under 60 it was pretty accurate but over 60 was reading almost 10 faster than actually going

that car is SO FUN! sitting at a light and some DUDE in a $pendy SUV to our right leaned out flashed some & said " SICK! " I love smiling & saying tanks to people who dig seeing her

Yeah not quite 10 but it was close maybe 7-8 still yeah would be nice to not have that but hey after what we've been thru getting to THIS just take her out of the garage & enjoy stage I'm not keen on getting that looked at
maybe @RT will chime in on that I kinda remember once maybe even my S having a lil off due to tire or wheel size butt not certain

oh & I do HOPE you GET one someday just do your research and look at all your options!

Default No obvious answer

If the error was gearing or tire diameter (aka rolling radius) the difference would be a percentage of your speed as opposed to a step where it’s right-ish up to a speed then wrong by 10% all of a sudden. Sounds kind of like the gas gauge in a couple of my older cars ...
