I would stick with stock ...... if it is good enough for Ferrari, it is good enough for me ..... more rubber does not always mean better handling ..... and you may find that at the limit (which I assume you are going to be pushing for if you want that much rubber) that the handling is worse than on stock rubber ...... you would be relying on the tyres too much and if they did let go, bye bye 575

Just IMHO

By the way, Hi Alex

i understand exactly what you're saying, but i don't think we'll ever push the car to the limits (10/10ths+) on the street. with the fiorano sports suspension, the limits are surprisingly high. since we'd still have the stock wheels, we'd mount some of michelin's semi-slick Pilot Sport Cup tires on them and use those wheels for track days.

of course, we want the car to look good, and frankly, the 18s just dont fill up the wheel wells like they should. ferrari offers a modular 19in wheel, but they're butt ugly IMO.

I think going to a 345 section would be overkill on that car though .... I understand the idea of going to 19s, but THAT wide ??

Personally, a Ferrari is a complete design to me .... I wouldn't mess with it at all ...... but that is just me ....

345 is wide on paper, but on the car i dont think it's that big. the car itself is already freaking wide, and it needs the tires to match. i've seen a 550 with 345 tires and it wasn't that outrageous. the problem is, nobody makes a tire size between 295 and 345 for a 19-inch rim. they do for 18s and 20s, but not for 19s,

but honestly, when you're following the ferrari, the rear tires just don't look big enough.

To an extent wider is better, I am just not sure that 345 would be better on a 575 ...... Alex, got any rear shots of a 575 with 345s on it ?
