drumming on rock band is not drumming, trust me. Its far from "the real deal" by a fuckton

 

the reason I know is b/c my roommate has it....however yes it is fun, but the feel and position of drums compared to a real set is far from real....especially the bass drum.

 

I suck at Rock Band drums, almost entirely due to the stupid pedal trigger.

 

Can't play heel-down on most of 'em.

 

I don't play heel down on real drums anyways....I get the quick snap playing with my toe, which is really working the quad muscle.

 

guitar hero drums are even worse since they are only 3 pads with 2 cymbals

 

If I'm laying into it, I'll raise my ankle. Otherwise, I prefer the dynamic control. . .

I'd like more time on a set, clutch if it had dual pedals (just to practice my rudiments in my foots).

 

I don't know why but I could never get used to a double pedal and believe i tried my darndest, so I just tried to do what I could do make my right foot quick with doubles and I guess it would be a double sixteenth note if that makes sense....just a quick eighth note per beat is what it is, I just forget the "name of the note"

 

the paradiddle is my most favorite rudiment, that and different flam rudiments.....I use that shit all the time while playing
