When patients are prepped in the operating room (or theatre for non-US), the nurses/techs (and sometimes medical students, residents, and surgeons themselves) shave certain areas of the body with a razor for further sterilization. This includes chest hair, pubic hair, hair around your balls, etc....

Is that safe to use on the scrotums? Personally, I wouldn't try it.

Just use grooming scissors. Wouldn't those do the job?

Nair is not recommended on the genital area. But there are other waxes that can be spread on those parts. Should result in a month long "smooth" area

Having said that, be a man and pluck 'em out once at a time with some tweezers (could take a few hours, depending on how big the "jungle" is down there, haha).

Oh, and as is the case for hair on other parts of your body, having them removed with tweezers or wax, will result in less hair growing back, especially if the procedure is able to remove the hair 'bulb' (follicle?). Shaving and cutting hair tends to accelerate it's growth, so it's not a very good idea to just trim (plus, it can lead to a lot of itching).

Laser treatment can be pretty much permanent (but hair is known to regenerate 20 years later), but can be quite expensive.

I'd say, go with a 'suitable' waxing, once a month or so. A year or two later, the amount of hair that grows down there will have been reduced quite a bit due to the 'ripping them out' procedure permanently killing the cells that produce hair.

I think you should find yourself a female nurse/medical student to do it for you.

My wife had her legs/armpits done with laser and it worked pretty well. Took about 3 treatments and she only has to shave them every once in a while to catch a few random hairs that escaped the laser.

The face doesn't work so well on guys. I tried the face because as you said, shaving every morning is a bitch. However, men's facial hair is very dense and tough (especially on hairy whiteboys like me). After 2 treatments I didn't even notice a difference. They said it would take many treatments and then I would still need to come in about once a month forever for touch ups. Too much $$$ for that. Plus it hurts like a bitch on the face. Too many nerve endings around your mouth (especially under your nose), not pleasant.

On legs and arms I'm sure it is fine but on the face and the lovesack I'm guessing it is gonna hurt!
