Next visit to Taco Bell, order the Escalado Supremo and watch for the blank looks It's the only thing on the menu that costs over $30,000US

(oink) I've seen the gearheads in the under hood forum use "bling-bling." I can't figure it out from the context. I think it means something like "way overkill for what you get from it," but I'm not sure that's quite right. It definitely seems tied to aftermarket stuff on your car.

I'd also like a good definition of "rice." Is this really derogatory? I mean, my idea of what's "rice" clearly doesn't match other folks... E.g., carbon fiber hood (yuck, in my opinion)...

Luke, once again you're the answer man! Thanks for clearing that up.

So, what's "rice?" Is it just cheesy add-ons? Is it the same thing as "bling-bling?"

Rice is any thing added to a car that makes it look bad. Ie: big wings on front wheel drives or body kits on cars that don't need the areodynamic benefits.

So, we can say that one man's bling-bling is another man's rice!

PDX? Yeah, y'all fly out there on da Wescoast. You want gangsta, we got gangsta. Somehow, though, I don't see Detroit's dept. of tourism promoting that fact...
