I haven't even swam north of SC... And that was around 15 years ago. All of my boogie boarding was done at Huntington Beach.

im assuming my face would prob look like this:
pics from ocean city md back in 02....it was fing cold that day.....as you can see no and the water was ****ing ice, we swam anywya

I've been boogie boarding in Santa Cruz. Definitely super cold. Brrr!!!!!
