The other small snag with a Caterham vs. a bike is the cost factor. If I go Caterham it will likely be several years before I get one. A bike is more instant gratification since I can get one in the Spring...

I have to agree on that point to an extent !!!!

I just have no interest in bikes, so would always pick the 7 over any bike ...

My quandry is that I have a great deal of interest in bikes AND I love the 7! Have wanted to build a car in my garage since I was a little kid and a friend of ours built an MG TD replica in his garage.

This is a fun decision because it relates to cool toys either way, but this is not something I'm treating lightly.
