Why is "Spam" the lucheon meat so funny to some of you guys?

Is it because of its high fat/calories? Is it because it is pork? I don't get this.......

I always have a can of Spam, handy, ready to rock at home, for emergency, if I have nothing to eat at home and dont wanna go out to eat.

 

Spam also means unsolicited junk e-mail, posts etc. Or it can be used as a verb, which would mean, sending such e-mails.

Ummm......I joke about it cause to me it is truly gross and I would never eat it. Reminds me of canned dog food.

 

I wouldn't eat it straight out of the can. If you fry it well, it is a day and night difference, just like a stock S2K vs SC'ed S2K

 

I don't thing anything in the Corner requires an explanation.
