I still call them albums somtimes, or records.

I think both names are still applicable, since they aren't medium specific like "vinyl"

 

I find the youngins now a lot of times dont know what an album is! they just want to know where I D/L music from

I've already asked for my grandparents' collection of albums from the 40s and 50s, along with their player (though I will probably upgrade). They have probably 200 albums.

I have all my Dads (may he R.I.P.) Albums...he was somewhat of a hippie in the 60's ....I have all the original Woodstock albums, Led Zep, Tommy the Who in MONO!!! and the prize album is Sgt. Peppers original cut...complete with cardboard cutouts of all the Peppers with mustaches, etc. Its a scream!
