Default Career Advice...

Ok.. so basically.. screw 6 more years of college for pharmacy.. I really don't care how much money I'll make.. I'm not capable of 6 more years of school. Pretty lost about what to do... I'm being very hard headed too, I don't want to move out of Nashville nor have some crazy job where I travel all the time. I would like to get back into school for a Graduate degree (Bachelors obtained already) but not sure what... I'm not really passionate for much that would land a job around here. Just looking for some type of advice from some of the people who I respect... except Brant.. JK man... I had to get you before you got me Tanks a lot! as VMOM would say.

And don't forget the luxury of working from home.
I'm quitting my job as we speak....

Seriously though...what are you passionate about? What really matters to you? What do you do in your spare time that you get pure enjoyment from? Are any of these things activities you could get paid for somehow?
How important is money? For me, I know I'll never be rich in my field (or even remotely close!), but I honestly can't see myself in any other profession.

ummm... thats what I am now... no money in that crap as a whole. I'll continue to freelance but I want out of the field. I'm a graphic designer for a record label.

This is the problem.. the only thing I enjoy that much really is messing with car stuff.. but I would get sick of working on them all the time. So basically I like what I do for my freelance work.. which pays well, when I charge full price... but the market is saturated... and people don't like to pay what its worth. I never cared too much about making that much money til I realized how broke I am and how much it sucks being with a college degree with frucking Abercrombie Managers are making more than me. I can barely keep my head above water and this ga'bage ass job is why I had to sell my S for the most part along with trying to get back in school. So I'm pretty lost on what to do because I really could give a shit less about most careers as far as what interests me.

32k a year starting off as one of their local store managers.... which isn't really much money.... but gives you an idea of how little I make.. I mean how the hell am I suppose to even save money on this lousy salary.

If you'd like to handle toxic chemicals, I've got a great job for you.

Jake, what do you perceive as your strengths and weaknesses? Do you have a technical mind? Are you good at interacting/dealing with people? Juggling multiple tasks vs single tracking?
