Default Carnegie Hall Follow Up

Looks like I'm going.

I went through every way possible, I've been in my counselor's office weekly, and it looks like I finally found one where I can do most everything I want. From a suggestion from a friend:

AP Eng.
AP Chem.
Precal H.
Orchestra H.
US History
Water polo

and in the fall of 2005 or the spring of 2006, take Spanish 3 at the local community college. It will count for a whole year of High school Spanish 3, but just with less time. So to make up that time, I will take AP Spanish my senior year. So my senior year should look like this.

AP Lit.
AP Physics
AP Cal.
AP Spanish
Orchestra H.
Water polo

with government/econ over the summer.

not so sure about AP Spanish though. it's just a UCLA admissions counselor told me that Spanish 3 at a community college for one semester will be "less" than Spanish 3 taken over the entire high school year and if someone had my exact grades, etc, that they would get in over me. but that's another year to worry about. I'm just happy I got this settled. Thanks for the help everyone.

Hey, best wishes, George.

Probably goes without saying, but please post several months in advance of your trip. No doubt the east coast s will come to see you!

Do they serve at Carnegie Hall?

Seriously--playing at Carnegie Hall is a tremendous achievement!

You're awesome George. Good work.

By the look of all those AP's you'll have no trouble affording that S in a few years.

It looks like my sister does not approve of my plan. She says I shouldn't kill myself and drop Orchestra. H instead next year..

But thanks for the support everyone. I shall still go.

Glad to hear that you managed to get something worked out George

You maybe setting yourself some tough targets, but if you are happy with that, don't let others convince you to take the easy route.

the more i think about it, the more she sounds right. i'm already pushing myself pretty hard with water polo and the AP classes, do I need to push myself even harder the most important year of my high school career? she is out of college and teaching at a college so she's definitely had some experience. she is telling me, "damn i feel sorry for those guys who worked 24/7 until they wore out" because it is not asa bad as we think it is.

the good thing is i'm already set to go, and that I have until the end of the year to decide what I want to do next year.

so, did i hear that some of the east coast 's want to go?
