Question Carvana

Anyone ever purchase from them?

Looking at cars and they along with CarMax seem to take the haggle CRAP outta the deal

if your better off at a Dealership ?

Input and or opinions welcome

No experience for me, but I still like the dealership experience, test driving a car, and then deciding if I want to buy it and working out all of the details at a dealership. I am very picky about small details, I'm afraid I would send back a large percentage of cars delivered to me sight unseen for all sorts of reasons. I can see the attraction in terms of convenience and not haggling on price and not dealing with cheesy car sales people.

Yeah we have only used CarMax to SELL a vehicle, each time a good experience in fact the C-6 offer was above the several Dealers who contacted us to bring it over as they were interested,
now again that was a few years back..... now its a different Ball Game on USED vehichles shortage has the dealerships here in the States offering to BUY your car even a different make / brand.

I hear ya on service though as that is an important factor esp if your not a mechanic
I see the offers on these places ( some ) say 7 & up days to return IFNS

Went to a dealership today to see a car and none to be seen new anyway as in to just look touch feel get acquainted to even know its an option? Well mom appreciates your input Joe

We sold a work truck (transit) to them last week, and we're currently in the process of selling our Abarth to them right now. They offered stupid money for the Fiat, so kinda dumb to not do it, plus having 3 summer cars is dumb in Michigan.

I'm not a huge fan of buying sight unseen, but their 7 day return policy is pretty good for that if there's any surprises.

I went through their website and I find their pricing to be a bit on the high side, particularly when it comes to high mileage cars. I think I could do better on pricing with a local dealer but that means straying from the no haggle process which many people like.

When it comes to women and cars I'm a touchy-feely kind of guy

They pay a lot for used cars, and they sell them at something of a markup. I think their business model is to make money on financing overpriced cars? Not really sure. Unfortunately because they (and CarMax) are willing to pay a premium, they are one of the few places with actual inventory.

On the subject of cars...

Why *not* the RC? The RC350 is pretty swank, doesn't need to be the F?

Personally not a fan of the Z4, but they're fine.

What about an A5 convertible? Probably a bit easier ingress/egress than Z4. Or maybe a Mercedes SL? Again, a bit more posh and a bit less sport than the Z4.

Tanks BB

Yeah I looked at a few RC F's at CarMax ONLY as they were in the corral not pulled out so just a 1st look close up peeking in thru the window it looked very nice interior color combos and cockpit looked nice.

Nick had tossed the Z4 out there so thought I'd GOOGLE it since I in the past wasn't a fan, it definitely looks different now & not sure if I like the head rest thingies.

ONLY Mercedes I'd own is my G WAGON & well ahhh thats kinda like my Lotto Ticket win $plurge

I thought maybe that new Jaguar was interesting but C-6 said he wouldn't a Jaguar or a BMW

We'll see I for now have the Mini tucked into the garage nice n clean & have the Ram to use as a daily.

Which one of these services has the most Chrysler K cars on their lots? That’ll answer your question.
