Cool! Can you take pics when you install the Modifry adapter? I'm REALLY interested in that.
Does this help?

Mikey whatz with that Sony Remote?

Mine didnt come back yet today

Oh and when I said that they let me Upgrade I didnt mean that the Pioneer was a lesser Unit I just think the Alpine is going to suit my needs better with my I-pod AND I think maybe I had gotten a lemon

Hopefully tommodow the adapted adaptor will arrive!
It is part of my modified DJ Qube remote. I have three buttons mounted under the dash to each work a separate independent group of functions (hence the universal remote), i.e. it works EVERYTHING, my headunit, my navigation system, and my DVD player

The modifry is the way I think I'd go since I don't have a lot of electronics to control.

I haven't bought it yet but plan on buying the Alpine for its iPod integration. That would just be cool but I want the left hand controls to work on no way I'll do it. I like those too much.

You're pics sort of help Mike but the remote confused me too. I think I get it but I didn't see how it was integrated nor how it actually uses the IR to contro.

From cats to dogs to electronics...

Mind boggling, to say the least.
