I couldn't bear to add to that other picture thread (which started so well and has veered off into the worst kind of crapsville)...

Anyway, for James, s2k_redhead, Luke, and Andy (and you other good doobies), here I am with my new blue. You guys had the courage to throw your pix out there on that other thread (sigh), so I couldn't just leave you hangin' out there

BTW, was your dad deprived as a child. He's got more horsepower in those two cars than I think I've had in my 20 years of cars

 

HAHAHHAHAHA!!!! LOL!!! Interesting Observation.

Nah, he just used to build street drag cars (hot rods) growing up. He's done w/ the drag racing scene. He wanted a good all-round car (track) so he got the S2000. But after about 2 yrs (even w/ the SC) he became restless. The S just didn't have that off-the-line punch that he was used to. So he started looking around for a possible replacement and eventually settled on the Viper. He's been happy w/ it ever since (I mean, it has everything the S does but w/ better acceleration) Luckily, he decided to keep the S (phew!). He recently took a Skip Barber driving course so now he's enjoying the car even more.

Tnx, Carlo. The metallic blue is really nice. Frankly, it's better than I really expected. I'd only seen one other out here in MA, and it blew by me (in my Miata) so fast I couldn't even get out a thumbs up.

Well, at least I don't drive that fast [can't yet, still breaking her in]

 

Yeah, it's hard to behave in the car. When you do break her in, I suggest getting a Valentine.

Boy, the corner sure is quiet tonight. James must've invited everyone out to Japan for a rave or something!

Actually, it's probably just the arrival of summer (at least in the N. hemisphere). Everyone's out driving. What am I doing online?
