California produced 1.72 billion pounds of cheese in 2002 and is the second largest U.S. cheese producing state. It is projected to be the largest producer within several years.

California produces approximately one out of every five pounds of cheese made in the U.S.

California is the country's largest milk producer and in 2002 produced nearly 35 billion pounds. Approximately 44% of all California milk goes to make California cheese.

California has 60 cheesemakers who produce 200 different varieties, types and styles of cheese.

LOL....goober. We sell to Japan and all over the US. Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Kraft...Velvetta is ours too. We are the largest single site cheese production facility in the US.

This is how many LBs of cheese we make daily: 1106620 lbs.

All that with 10,357,000 lbs of milk....lovely
