The thing that got me a little fired up was that I had a few genuine questions between purchasing the car and picking it up (took 2 months) and most never even got a reply, but as soon as I turned up to a local event, once I got the car, they seemed more than happy to tell me what was wrong with it and why I should and shouldn't have done certain things.

Don't get me wrong most of them are great but it's that minority that seem to spoil so much.


And then I found the Corner.

 

I used to hang out in the UK forum for a while (with AnDy PaNdY and awinskill) but there was a bit of a falling out between some of the "serious" folk and the "muppets" after which I switched over to Off-Topic and then The Corner......

Most of the time I post in the UK forum now no one bother to reply, which is why I ended up asking sensible questions in The Corner.... I guess we are just too silly for some of them

 

Some people need to learn to laugh at themselves and not take life so seriously. After all most of us are here for a while so you might as well enjoy it.

I think we've all learned our "lessons" about roaming outside the Corner. Peter, you're so spot on about people needing to chill out. The problem with s2ki is that some of the folks out there feel a need to make their presence known. I like to tell them nicely how nasty they are, and that usually brings out an apology or a PM Sometimes they just need a good bitch-slap. In other cases, they're just downright nasty and need to be ignored.

Anytime you wanna ask a reasonable question in the Corner, that's AOK with me. Expect some philosophical answer, tho, from me

There are many good threads already discussing religion. You guys should go check them out in OT if you are really interested. I followed them for quite some time.
