Also if I move to the US, it'd be cheaper to buy one over there than import and already exported one.

That would be one crazy trade !!!!!

A few years back I had the local TVR garage set up to lend me a griffith for 3 days.

contacting them from Japan and saying that I was moving back to the UK and wanted to test one before I bought it seemed to get them very interested

Unfortunately, the trip back go t cancelled and I didn't get a chance to follow up on it with them for too long afterwards

I saw Corvette at the Motorshow. They asked me if I was interested in anything and I said yes, I'd like to buy a Z06.

Suddenly they really wanted to talk to me. It's just taken some time to arrange the test drive as I had to wait for my broken wrist and hand to no longer be broken

But it's only fair that you include the dearly missed Cavalier in that fine category as well.
Yes, the Cavalier will be sorely missed by the automotive world. It was a great car, comparable to the other greats that are no longer with us such as the RX-7, Supra, Camaro and 3000GT.

Oh you are so right. We can't let the memory of those precious pieces of machinery fade!
