fresh beans. fresh ground. damn its so good.
I think coffee might be the next thing I become a snob about. I learned that you can only store it in the dark for a couple weeks in an airtight ceramic container.
ground coffee spoils the fastest.
keep it out of the refrigerator unless you want to make coffee with baking soda.
fresh coffee tastes sweet not bitter.

My friend Beavis works for Starbucks now. Using his discount, I got a bitchin' grinder for $12. . . I don't have the heart to tell him I'm sneaking down to Peet's (although that almost counts).
I now need a bigger French Press and a ceramic airtight carafe.
