[RANT] Why in the eff are college books so freakin much? I mean really/... $150 for a MATH book and you MUST purchase the online portion for $40 bucks more?! So I spent around 575... [/RANT]

 

Edumacation costs money. What sucks is when you go to sell them back at the end of the semester.

 

yeah especially if they are coming out with a new edition.....

I worked in the college bookstore.....book buybacks blew the big one....

 

I ended up buying books and never even opening them

 

Although I wasnt really the reading type

 

....or studying for that matter.

 

You know your right. I forgot to sell my econ book back one semester and when I finally remembered to sell it back the next edition had come out and I couldn't sell it back...

 

Amateurs. Clearly you haven't tried buying Music lately:

"Oh! You wanted the accurate one by Schott Music. . . that'll be $45."
"For 8 minutes. . . 4 pages of music?!?!? $45?!?!? Forty-five-freakin' dollars for 4 pages and binding?!?"
"Well, you could buy the Luck's edition of it."
"How much is that?"
"$20."
"Yeah, but on the cover they misspelled 'Beethoven.'"
"When's the gig?"
"Tomorrow. . . fuck."
"How much you getting paid?"
"$100. . . fine. I'll take the Schott version."
