I thought sending in complaints in writing was the way to go these days...

I lived for 3 months at one house... never paid more than $20 for cable internet and TV. Weekly calls about service outages (real and imagined) has that effect.

If by "watching me work" you mean watching me fret, answer the phone, design draw, and rip a clump of hair out of my head in the process...all while popping excedrin like they were chicklets....sure...
