Maybe John, with his installation experience, would be the right man to send up there to get that "Tan Cam" installed before Mom's next session ....

I made sure to wave to J before I hopped in
I think someone owes us a story.

When I get my shite together I'll post another story.

Time for another story from the Celebrity Telephone Man
I was just recalling my several repair visits to Hazel's Answering Service in London Ontario. The business was located on Hamilton road as I recall and was the most wonderfully insane place.
Hazel, the owner and as far as I know the only employee, had decided some time ago that it was cheaper to have individual phones rather than a switchboard. Probably it would have been a 'cord board' when she was making this decison and she was probably right. But the result of 20 years of business, and a fairly successful one at that, was that her walls were covered with hundreds, and I mean hundreds of wall phones. Mostly wall phones. There were a few shelves with desk phones and some more on her desk. Most of them were black but there were some green ones, red ones, and various beige or ivory.
They were the old style with genuine bells in them. Some had little lights on them so Hazel could see which line was ringing, but not all did. There would be constant ringing and this is funny, Hazel wouldn't always answer because she knew (or said she did) which businesses were in and would answer and which wouldn't.
I doubt it's still there and doubt even more that if it is that it still has all those phones but it was funny as hell at the time.
I thought I should check in with another story for you.
