I'm not working at the moment and we're waiting for my immigration interview. Selling my S too. Doubt it will sell before winter, but I could use the money since I'm hoping to finish school next year. $30,000 tuition. About 6x the cost in Canada!

 

There are less expensive schools.

 

Problem is I'm disqualified from many of them because by the time I can start (next September) it will have been more than 5 years since I completed my undergrad.

 

Major suck!

 

Tell me about it. I looked at several out of state schools and in other areas of Ohio...It doesn't seem to matter that I've already started to work on my masters, just that 5 year timeline about my undergrad. Boooooo. Oh well, at least it's only one year!

 

How does the immigration interview go? Are they just trying to make sure you and Mocky aren't pulling the wool over anyone's eyes?

Steve already has his green card....

 

Yeah the interview should be pretty straightforward. Need to bring some documentation that we have a bona fide marriage and they ask me some questions (like how did we meet, what does he do for a living) and then I believe the PR card arrives in my mailbox a couple days later.

Did Steve already have his green card when you met?

 

Yeah he already had the green card... he always jokes to people that he married me because he wanted to.... because he already had a green card!
