if it was $10million.. no one would be able to own one..... not easy to get a $10million loan ...

 

I know that's the approximate figure for McDonalds a few years back. Perhaps smaller companies require less.

 

not that much tho.... about 4 years ago.. 7-11 came to my aunt and asked her if she wanted to own a franchised 7-11....and it was no where near 10million

I see. McD's may be just that much more expensive, or maybe I'm off by a factor of 10. Regardless, I remember thinking that it would be an impossibility to own a McD's in my lifetime. And I don't think 1 mil would've gotten me thinking that...
