My dad almost bought a GN the other day

Was the engine swap into the van that hard? and how much did it set you back?

lol, i give rides all the time, mostly to my 9th-grade neighbor's friends. once i took this girl for a ride in my S and i had to stop so she could throw up, lol

The engine swap was pretty easy. The engine was our own - pulled from my dad's Z32 TT. The hard part was getting ahold of a Maxima 5M/T gearbox - it was the only way we could get the TT engine into the van; the 300ZX it's mounted longitudinally, in the van it had to be transverse.

Quite a bit of money though. We go thru engine mounts every 4 months or so. lol

 

Grand National? That's what bozo's who just want the S to be a drag car should buy......Damn fast in a straight line.....

ya, i have a 240 as well , well, a 240Z '72

 

Why not get some of those polyurethane(sp) mounts?
