well, you don't need anything big. Just something that'll mate. Have you thought about motorcycle trannies? Or maybe a metro? I don't know if you know any good tranny places where you live but you could also manipulate the gearing inside the tranny to fit what you need. That takes alot of experience, though.

ya, CI, i'm no tranny specialist. we could use a traditional electrohydraulic clutch setup, but that would be single-speed. we're looking for a clutch'd 5-speed festiva. it shouldn't be too hard to find.
