What am I supposed to be checking out Alex ??

And as far as I am concerned, in every day speak it is WE Brits, whilst that may not be gramatically correct, it is a useage that has been accepted for years ......

Well, proper grammar would be "we Brits" for if you were to remove the modifier, in this case "Brits," the sentence would still need correct grammar. You can't say "as far as us are concerned," can you? That's Texan speak.

I wasn't arguing waht the correct grammer was, I was just noting that in everyday speach in England (the home of this language of which we speak) you would expect to hear some say us rather than we .......

Ya, we would to, but I'm just pointing it out.

But seriously, who am I to correct grammar? We say y'all's's (pronounced yuh-ALLS-is) for Christ's sake; it's the plural possessive of y'all.
