well, if you have a superlight flywheel, your engine won't start!
much less, it won't even run at <2krpm!
as for the clutch, i haven't researched it much, but i'll definitely look into the SPEC system.
with a car as "weak" as ours, with as little torque as we have, you don't want a "mushy" clutch. it should bite instantly, and the friction point should be "right there" - a triple-plate wet clutch would be my choice.
ACT has a combo offer through Comptech which looks tasty, but i still ned to explore my options further

I think you'd have a hard time finding something that won't start our motor..... actually I think Krazik will be the first to find it, he's on the hunt for a 3-4 lb flywheel..... which will be wicked crazy, but damn swing for responce and high RPM shifting.. ...
ACT is a solid choice, I just want a little more without having to go to a puck setup.

Nope.

We were supposed to go back to College Station to finish work on my friend's truck. We went a few weeks ago to put in a new transmission (he stripped the governor and busted a planetary, after stripping the ring gear in the rearend, after floating the valves and shattering a piston). We were just about done when we had to turn over the engine to get to the last bolt from the torque converter to the flywheel.
But then we realized we left the keys in Houston (1.5hr away) so we decided to just come back.
No such luck - it turns out the keys weren't in Houston, but in his house in College Station!
Anyway, we just have to re-time the engine, hook up the plugs, bolt on the torque converter, and reconnect the drive shaft!
